Aperol Spritz

This is a sip that signals the start of the evening. Bitter-sweet and bubbly, built for terraces and aperitivo hours. Light and refreshing. Popularised in northern Italy in the 1950s.
Method
✦ Fill glass with ice.
✦ Add prosecco, aperol, then soda.
✦ Stir gently.
Serve
Served in a wine glass with cubed ice. Garnished with an orange slice to soften bitterness.

✦ 75ml Prosecco
✦ 50ml Aperol
✦ 25ml Soda water
